An On-Grid Solar System (also known as a Grid-Tied Solar System) is directly connected to the electricity grid. It allows you to use solar energy for your daily power needs and export excess electricity back to the grid through Net Metering — helping you save or even earn on your electricity bills.

How It Works
Solar Panels absorb sunlight and convert it into DC electricity.
The Solar Inverter converts DC power into usable AC power.
Electricity is first used to run your appliances.
Any excess power is sent back to the grid through the Net Meter, and you earn energy credits.
During the night or low sunlight, power is drawn from the grid.
This system does not require batteries, making it economical and low-maintenance.
Installation Process
Site Survey – Our experts visit your location to assess roof condition, direction, and available space.
System Design & Quotation – A customized solar layout and cost estimate are provided.
DISCOM Application – Approval is taken from the electricity board for grid connection and subsidy eligibility.
Installation & Wiring – Solar panels, inverter, and other equipment are installed safely.
Net Meter Installation – A bidirectional meter is fitted to record import and export units.
Testing & Commissioning – The system is tested and connected to the grid.
Subsidy Claim Submission – Necessary documents are submitted through the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana or state solar portal for subsidy release.
Government Subsidy Details
The Government of India provides attractive subsidies under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana for residential consumers installing on-grid rooftop solar systems.
Eligibility
Only for residential rooftop systems.
The consumer must apply through the National Portal (https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in
).
Installation must be done by an approved vendor listed on the portal.
System must use ALMM-approved solar panels and BIS-certified inverter.
